Social studies on globalisation

In this song, the writer is trying to tell us that the once beautiful patch of grass which she calls it a paradise has been destroyed to become a parking lot.(man-made things)e.g. hotels and boutiques.
Globalization has taken place that kills the nature environment.
The real life people are the farmers and old man in taxi.
There are symbols like the museum which actually represents the fields where cut down trees are placed to be processed into paper for us to buy. The writer has also explained to us how globalization has affected the world. She doesn’t like globalization because her nature environment has been destroyed.
The song is biased I feel. For example, the phrase” leave me the birds and bees “Meaning that nature is important to her and do not deforest that will chase birds and bees away.
She obviously does not want trees to be cut down.” That you don’t know what you’ve got” tell us that the writer is trying to tell the government to conserve what we have in earth then it’s too late. Basically t0 stop globalization.
The writer is trying to achieve rights to stop globalization, to reserve the nature environment that gives us oxygen. She is frustrated on having to be globalized. Therefore the writer is tying to send a message across the world to save the earth.

My thoughts of that runaway terrorist

Oh no….the terrorist is really out on the leash...
I never thought that it might really happen. We had always taken it for granted that the police security in Singapore is very tight and that nothing will happen to beautiful red dot.
Mas selamat bin Kastari I believe have run away secretly to Pulau Ubin or Johor. The distance between Singapore and johor is a stone throw away… He is sure to have accomplice and had help kastari escape.
The newspaper claimed that he is still in Singapore and all over Singapore has his pictures pasted. He has a limp on his leg and that leaves us wondering whether he might be able to run? To even swim?

He cannot possibly survive without food for days if he is still in Singapore. Someone is sure out there to support him ever since the escape from whitely detention area. If he can escape from the police, He would sure be able to even escape from Singapore!
He is such a selfish person! He has 5 children studying in Singapore. And to think that they carry their father’s surname is so embarrassing. Couldn’t the father have some heart?

There is only one source from straits time. How did he even escape? From Singapore? After so much effort in catching him to the detention area? Too bad Singapore…

You have to respect one another’s religion. Do not think that you are the only religion around and start to think yourself as the greatest.
Even though it was the Muslims that are the terrorist, we should not think that all Muslims or Malays are bad.
we should not misinterpret other religions to be bad
Why is terrorism introduced? Example, the JI. They wanted to put the Muslims into one country and by doing that they started to attack countries in Asia.
Why is Singapore not affected?? According to Gabriel, the Muslims in Singapore are very loyal to the country, Singapore and they do not want to move to another country. e.g. Malaysia
Even though the senior of the terrorism group has been captured, there are much younger ones who are joining the fight and they are the mostly intellectual.
for e.g. there’s one Singaporean who was from RI to NJC to NUS and after that went to join the JI. It’s wasted. His life is gone.
we should all have our own beliefs and dont discriminate others.
